(ER037) Thomas Baragona – Demoded
Now this is a crystal mined from the earth. Raw musique concrete among the buzzing bees. The undeniably abstract emissions of Thomas Baragona’s slowly arising discography, held in almost total obscurity for a long time now, are something to be cherished. Ardently out there, seeking outside influence from nobody, this marks Baragona’s first album conceived, back before he knew how his equipment worked. Pure experimentation so as to evolve in dada soundscapes that would grow steadily more intensified with each passing conglomeration. This album, not even quite 8 minutes long, packs just as much of a punch as his longer, more concentrated cacophony caws. A shining, sparkling, crystalline example of the uniqueness that has been and remains Thomas’ striking sound visions. Prepare for the raw beginnings, the crowns of the contorting, dripping redwood. Synthetic, superficial diamonds that you buy in the jewelry store tend to be refined and unnaturally pristine. When you mine diamond from the earth, it will be ripe with beautiful flaws.
