Those who follow the work of Arnaud Barbe follow him well, and his visual series is a shining example as to why we drool so strongly for his explosive sounds. Conjuring up every thought idea and feeling, always advocating the rhythm of all creation as one continuous piece of music, self expressive selflessness, cosmic understanding amidst cosmic confusion of an incredibly personal ART!ist. Here again, for the second time on Effluvia, is a collection of wonderful music videos going with some grandiose tracks within Arnaud Barbe’s most passionate songs. This time, rather than the prior effluvia visual release of special speciality and magnificent magnificence (I must be running out of compliments..), what we have here is nature unhindered with. Sustained, uninterrupted shots of nature as is, spawning feelings just as profound as the more stylized and manipulated videos of prior installments to this magnanimous opus of a gift this prolific giant of our netlabel nova provided. Here we see the complexity, the insanity, the harmony, inside that which is around us. The movement of our view, the restlessness of the trees, the euphoric chaos of rain, of waves. Oh I celebrate these windows to more windows to more windows to the very heart of Pollux’s buried intention, unleashing awe, beauty, everything at once.
