You, you fractured, broken, bleeding, smiling minds of the information age, prepare for some fractured, broken, bleeding, smiling stimuli and feel right at home in the carnage and cacophony of a sonic world parallel to your hectic insides. These annihilated miscommunications through a broken lo fi lens of catastrophic bludgeoning, with a twist of euphoric absurdist pleasure, are brought to you by two fellows whose contributions to the netlabel nova is one of eclectic necessity towards the intuitive, insistent concocting of cerebrum melting wonderment. Flashroyal, an avid lowbitter with an aggressive and versatile palette of countless evocative sound curiosities. And Novsokvsolegs, whose music has a unique edge that sends my dimples blushing with delight as the breakcore is broken down by an ethereal resin from the night sky above. Here they have joined forces to give you three videos, the first by Flashroyal, whose disconnected, restless images move through spacetime without remorse, confused and explosive with a bewildered mission statement obscured behind our overstimulated mind. We cannot disperse from such scandals once we’ve clicked play. And then a quick roller coaster ride of a video from Noskovsolegs, throwing your body to and fro with a noisy breakcore delight, and then finally an epic poem of disassembled glitch avant garde where the two combine forces with an incredibly vivid and yet unclear symphony of textural toil and trouble, full of crowds and impossibilities and explosions and the awe of this world. All to music that suitably matches such images, rhythmic sometimes, purely noisy other times, or in a wonderful concrete limbo between the two.
