(ER018) Pushing Task – TV
Have you ever been in that deep silence? So deep that the sounds in the foreground are those electrical resonate tones and buzzes radiating from your nervous system? Have you ever heard those frequencies emitted from television sets that only seem to effect an environment and emotion when it disappears after having switched the machine off? That ringing whistle beyond our phenomenal consciousness that effects us nevertheless. Have you ever looked at your hands and scene not the veil of human significance but machinery composed of muscle, bone, lightening, void? Just as a fax machine coo’s and computes and fathoms and dies, the astonishing dialogues and observations spoken to the wonderfully refreshing and always welcome sounds of netlabel sharpener “Pushing Task” is nothing short of breathtaking and packed with awe. Much of the music and drones and musical hoopla inhabits the backdrop, more or less, throwing the samples of bellowing men stunting and sizzling your nervous system with ideas about the multimedia, the extension of our organic digestive gadgetry mirrored in society, the sentient nature in all that with volume, and revelations of all things, synthetic or otherwise, as organic tools further continuing. Masterfully mixed to add a cosmic feeling of profound revelation to conversations you’d hear on the Art Bell radio show late in the night. Celebration all around, prepare to be evoked into seeing what’s behind the artificial snow. Pushing Task is a prolific outfit as well, if your salivating tongues aren’t appeased solely with this slice of cloud nine. Indulge a little. It’s suppertime somewhere.
