(ER081) Freaks With People Behind Them & Fabiorosho – A Split For Newborn Osprey
Welcome to life, you newborn osprey, here is the song of your birth. This is an image of what you shall experience throughout your life. Oh the beauty, the splendor, the strangeness. Today at Effluvia, you are looking at a guilt-ridden Dishdawash writing this review, for this album took me much too long to release, and for that I am very sorry. I am especially sorry to Nick, who submitted the tracks for “Freaks With people Behind Them” which would call this their debut release. Them teamed up with Fabiorosho makes for a very aerodynamic pleasure of psyeudo noise crunch techno and experimental glitchy soundwomps. Fabiorosho provides immense heavyweight pieces to dance to. Not because its focus is purely about being catchy, but rather because the motion of the piece is very surprising and exciting, provoking movement. And then you have the people behind the freaks, and boy is it freaky fun. After patiently waiting, these two brothers of genetics and music can enjoy these lovely pieces seeing the light of day. At times quite beautiful, other times bizarre, what these tracks show are artists discovering the miracle of music experimentation and performance. I hope to see more of them soon. Welcome to life, you newborn osprey. You will thank the Goddess that you have wings when you see what mankind did to the surface of the earth. Here are your wings, fly with the music! Fly with the noise!
